Location: London (hybrid, currently three days working from Westminster and two days working from home per week)

To support our continued growth, we are looking to fulfil a new role supporting and expanding our dedicated and award-winning media work.

You will have experience in public affairs, public relations or journalism and an interest in politics that you want to develop.

​

You will be given support and training and responsibility to work with our clients from day one helping develop and implement communications campaigns, strategic PR and maintaining media relations.

​

You’ll have the creativity to spot the media opportunities that others miss, and to dream up something different designed to further our clients aims and objectives. You’ll have the practical skills to manage a busy workload, liaise with senior staff among our clients and to deliver. And you’ll have the demeanour to slot into a hardworking, supportive and friendly team who take pride in providing outstanding work and results and contributing to positive change in society.

You will be working with a cross-party, dynamic team with experience in a range of media and in Parliament, the political parties, trades unions, charities, local government and business across a range of policy areas.

 

Position Overview

 

As an Account Manager with a particular focus on public relations and media relations, your focus will be on helping our clients achieve influence through their messaging and profile.

You’ll need excellent communication skills, you’ll be writing for a range of outlets and audiences both internal and external, corporate and consumer.

 

You will be responsible for managing client relationships, developing and executing strategic communication plans, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

 

Strategic Communications:

 

  • Develop and implement integrated communication plans to support clients' public affairs and public relations objectives.

  • Craft compelling messaging and narratives that resonate with target audiences.

  • Utilise various channels, including media relations, digital platforms, and public events, to disseminate key messages effectively.

  • Maintain media contacts and track media coverage and broader industry and society trends to inform communications plans and strategic decision making.

 

Client Relationship Management:

 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact.

  • Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for engagement and develop strategic public relations campaigns.

  • Understand clients' goals, challenges, and industry landscape to provide strategic counsel and develop tailored communication strategies.
