The All Party Parliamentary Water Group, in partnership with i2O and Salamander Group - two UK companies developing new technology for the water sector - and Yorkshire Water, one of the biggest water companies in the UK, are proud to present Leading through Innovation – the way forward for the UK water sector - a reception and exhibition event.
This high level parliamentary reception and exhibition will focus on innovation in the water sector. In particular, the event will highlight the need for more innovation in the water sector to enable water companies to develop sustainable strategies for the future. Furthermore, the event seeks to highlight the essential role of new technologies in updating aging distribution networks and other vital infrastructure and pro-actively managing key assets.

The APPWG is delighted that Professor Martin Cave who is currently reviewing this issue for the government has agreed to outline first findings of his review at the event. The Water Minister Rt Hon Jane Kennedy has been invited to provide the keynote address.
The group is a well regarded and highly competent contributor to the water policy debate, holding various parliamentary meetings throughout the year as well as recently conducting an acclaimed inquiry into the future of the UK water sector. It is now widely recognised as a unique platform for developing and maintaining effective dialogue between key political influencers and stakeholders.
The event will be attended by senior representatives of major water companies, technology and other supply industries as well as the regulator and consumer bodies and it will therefore be an excellent opportunity for you to meet a wide range of relevant stakeholders.
